"This is a fantastic spot to enjoy some time together. The unit was so relaxing and stunning West Coast design with live edge counters in the bathroom and wood stove in the main area. Small compact kitchen with an extended counter off the island for dining. The kitchen was thoughtfully designed and offered everything you needed. Very comfortable bed and linens. Absolutely loved the outdoor hot tub. It is right on the beach with fantastic views. Comfortable leather chairs with foot stools in the living area o sit back and enjoy a movie or chat by the fire. Very comfortable for two. Great location to connect to the SCT for day hikes. Shingle Mill pub was close by for dining, but you should bring food and snacks with you as there is only a general store about 5 minutes away."

"I had such a positive and nourishing experience, staying at the Heron suite for a solo retreat away. It was everything that I had hoped for and more with comfort, ease and tranquility. The sauna and hot tub combo was the ultimate treat and healing remedy for where I was at. With their booking system, it allows for a private experience, which I very much appreciated. All three hosts were incredibly hospitable, communicative and gracious throughout the weekend, respecting my privacy and making sure that I was comfortable and stocked up. I will no doubt return alone and with loved ones!"

"The Heron Suite was spotless and welcoming! Between the diffuser, spa music and HD nature scenes on the TV and the modern and simple cozy decor… we felt like we were walking into a spa retreat. The hosts were friendly and the ocean water hot tub has amazing views. We watched the marine wildlife every morning from the covered sitting area right above the beach. Definitely recommend!"

After a chilly morning out the water enjoying a tour of beautiful Desolation Sound, coming back to soak in the saltwater hot tub right on the beach was a perfect way to spend the afternoon."
