Jenny & Sean’s AirBNB (Cedar Suite) is a tasteful, elegant venue with hand hewn furnishings (trim and accents), well-stocked kitchen, beautifully landscaped front yard with personalized touches from the owner’s (Sean’s) craftsmanship. The stunning view from the two-sided glass enclosed sauna and outdoor sea water hot tub were the exact warm up needed after several plunges in the crystal clear waters off the rocky beach. [We picked up water shoes at the local Walmart (bring if you plan to take a dip).]. We were visiting elderly relatives living in Powell River for a couple of days amidst a Pacific NW adventure excursion (Susan – 3/25)

Quite possibly the nicest most well thought out airbnb experience. Impeccably clean, thoroughly stocked with every amenity you could need. Gorgeous ocean views, amazing patio and the nicest ocean fronted sauna you could ever imagine. Cozy fireplace with kindling and fire starter pucks were provided. Smart tv automatically logged in with guest accounts to every service.  My only question going in was ‘is there a way to make coffee in the morning’ and there are three coffee options available – french press, coffee maker and nespresso.  Can’t wait to come back! Sean and Jenny’s place is spectacular and we’d highly recommend it. It is right on the water and the views from the suite are stunning. The day we arrived it was clear and we could see the white capped mountains across the water. They clearly gave a lot of attention to detail to every last thing – the linens were beautiful, the lighting was soft and best was the kitchen was so well equipped – the best we’ve ever had at an AirBnb ! Good quality pots & pans, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, Nespresso, bean grinder, cooking tools/bowls, serving dishes..We like to cook and appreciated that so much. The vibe very peaceful. The salt water hot tub was amazing (I usually don’t like the chlorine in hot tubs….this was the nicest one I’ve ever been in, right under an arbutus tree by the water). Our friends loved the sauna with the glass panel facing the ocean. The hot tub and sauna are shared…which was ok – just good to know that you need to book times to use these (Faye – 2/25)

Absolutely beautiful new house in a spectacular location. Very clean, exquisitely decorated, modern, if not high-tech, appliances. The area around the house is very well maintained. We loved the views, the beach, the sandy stretch with a super-cozy firepit area, and the hot tub. This place is truly a piece of paradise. The owners live next door and are very nice and easy to communicate with. We rented the lower suite and worried about sharing the house with others, but the place feels private. The check-in experience was a totally unexpected surprise and immediately made us feel spoiled: we walked into soft music playing and a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in the fridge! A very pleasant stay all around. I only wish we could spend more time there (Polina – 6/23)

Beautiful property and accommodation. The beach is lovely and the pets welcome policy is a huge bonus for a relaxing stay with the whole family. My relatively active 80 year old parents were very comfortable sharing this accommodation with us and could easily get around the property that has a gentle slope to the ocean. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful without being imposing in any way.  Fully recommend! (Shannon – 12/24)

Easiest 5 star rating I’ve ever given.
This place will hold a special place in my heart for time to come! My friends and I had the perfect few days at Hemlock. The view is breathtaking, the facilities are second to none, the private beach was perfect. The beds are extremely comfy, bathrooms are gorgeous and had loads of towels provided. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with so much useful equipment. We had a wonderful time in the hot tub admiring the arbutus shedding its bark.
